This beautiful cactus (Schlumbergera) is a very popular house plant. They bloom colourful and tubular flowers which are long lasting.

Although it's a type of cactus, unlike other cacti, it thrives in bright and indirect light. Watering periods are best to be kept sparsely in between. Allow soil to dry out before watering again.
