According to the calendar the first day of spring was Tuesday March 20th, but here in Vancouver I really think spring arrived this past Saturday, the sky was bright blue, the sun was shining and the air finally has a softness to it, that cold bite seems to have disappeared, and I for one couldn’t be more pleased!!

Spring is a time for all things new, new flowers, new leaves on the trees and new babies!  We sent this lovely soft arrangement out the door today to welcome a new baby girl to the world. It has garden roses, anemones, freesia, tulips, viburnum and seeded eucalyptus.

Oh and I spent the weekend on Pender Island a little while ago and just about died when I saw these cute little guys.  I mean what says spring more than lambs!!  They were sooooo adorable, I took like a million photos, I will only subject you to the one.
