As promised, here is the creation designed using the pristine florals we had delivered from Holland. I have complimented the Dutch flowers with stems grown right here in the Lower Mainland.

Soft pink peonies are the headliner of this bouquet. Would you believe they were locally grown? The flower farmers here deserve a big pat on the back. The quality, colour, and size of these beauties are phenomenal. Compared to the size of the peonies, the Dutch flowers are quite small. I’ve used Ranunculus as mass flowers to add depth, and continue the soft pink colour theme.

The pale pink and yellow flower pictured above is an Icelandic Poppy, cut from a plant right here in the Studio! Can’t get much fresher than that. The crepe paper texture of the poppies add a fairy-tale flair to the arrangement. To achieve the romantic and summery look I wanted, I arranged the Passionflower Clematis trailing downward, and used the foliage dotted throughout. The Pulsatilla Anemone are grouped on the side, just cresting atop the pink blooms. They look almost ready to fly away.

This afternoon has been an absolute dream. I can’t get enough of it! Enjoy your Saturday, and the rest of your long weekend.

xx
